Privacy Policy

How Fintech Platform collects, uses, and protects your information.

Overview

Fintech Platform is a portal that lets retailers manage wallet transfers, bill payments, and payouts, and lets admins oversee that activity. Using the platform means trusting us with account, transaction, and identity information, and this policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it beyond what is described here.

Information we collect

We collect the details needed to open and operate an account: name, contact details, and identity or business verification documents collected during onboarding. We also record the transaction data generated by using the platform — wallet balances, transfer and payout history, bill payment references, and related timestamps — since this is both how the service works and what makes your ledger auditable. Separately, our servers automatically log technical information on every request: IP address, browser and device details, the page or endpoint accessed, and the time of access.

How we use this information

Account and verification data is used to provision your access and meet our know-your-customer and regulatory obligations. Transaction data is used to process transfers and payouts, maintain accurate ledgers, and generate the statements and reports available in the platform. Technical log data is used to keep the service reliable and secure — diagnosing errors, monitoring performance, and detecting abuse. We do not use any of this information for purposes beyond operating, securing, and improving the platform.

Payment and financial data

Where a transaction involves a card, bank account, or other payment instrument, the underlying payment details are handled by the relevant bank, card network, or payment gateway rather than stored by us beyond what is necessary to reconcile the transaction on your ledger.

Sharing and disclosure

We share information with the banking partners, payment gateways, and billers required to complete a transaction you initiate, and with service providers who host or support the platform under confidentiality obligations. Beyond that, we disclose personal information only where required to comply with applicable law or a valid legal process, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Fintech Platform or its users, or to investigate suspected fraud or misuse of the platform.

Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect account and transaction data from unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure, including access controls and encryption in transit. Server logs are also reviewed to help identify and prevent unauthorised access, malicious activity, and other security incidents. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep this one that way.

Data retention

We retain account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and for the period required afterward by applicable financial recordkeeping and regulatory obligations, after which records are archived or deleted in line with those requirements.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the platform or to applicable law. Updates take effect as soon as the revised policy is posted here, and continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to check this page periodically.
